Asif : Pakistan Army Fully Ready to Counter Any Threat

Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said Pakistan Armed Forces can counter any enemy misadventure. He made the remarks while speaking to a private television channel on Tuesday. Moreover, he stressed the country’s strong defense readiness.

Asif said the world witnessed the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces in May 2025. He referred to the conflict with India during that period. According to him, Pakistan’s performance earned global recognition.

Meanwhile, Asif claimed India lost confidence after facing defeat by Pakistan. He added that Pakistan would respond strongly to any future aggression. Therefore, the armed forces remain fully prepared at all times.

He also said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lost credibility internally and externally. According to Asif, India’s leadership faces growing pressure. As a result, regional tensions continue to draw attention.

Separately, Asif said Afghan Taliban and TTP are not trustworthy. However, he clarified the government opposes banning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Meanwhile, authorities continue to review political and security matters.
